Woolmi – knitting patterns creator.
Woolmi generates jumpers patterns with easy to follow instructions and schemes.
For any size, any type of needles and knitting gauge.
Choose from different silhouettes, lengths and neck shapes.
Woolmi currently offers 90 different styles combinations. Each of them can be calculated for any size and for any yarn.
All Woolmi patterns are size inclusive. If your chest circumference is from 78 to 126 sm and height from 155 up to 180 sm Woolmi-jumper will suit you perfectly.

How to use:
Select shape, neckline, length and other options to create your own style.
Enter your measurements and knitting gauge.
Save the pattern.
Check if you have enough yarn and measurements of the ready garment that suit you well.
Follow instructions. Highlight the step you are working on.
Saved patterns are available in Woolmi app and on woolmi.app webpage.

Ratings and reviews

Overall easy to use but is only good for making basic patterned sweaters/jumpers. You get a decent amount of customization and the instructions are helpful and clear; good for beginners. I do however wish there were a few more customization options and maybe a few different pattern styles, perhaps a cardigan would be a nice addition. A small inconvenience that everything is in centimeters since I do most work in inches but it's not hard to do a conversion so it's not too big of a deal.

I've used the calculator on the website multiple times and my sweaters have come out great. I really enjoy having this tool to use as a guide! As a free knitting pattern calculator, the limited style/pattern choices aren't an issue. It's not been a problem to make a gauge swatch in whatever stitch pattern I plan to use and then using the pattern's stitch/row counts as a guide. Thank you!

Good app but it only has options for womens and kids patterns. Patterns are simple and easy to understand, which is good for like me who's a new knitter. It would be nice to be able to export the pattern into a pdf file as I have a row counter app, that I use and it would be nice to be able to import this pattern into my row counter app or even print it out. If the option is there, I haven't found it yet, in which case, it could be made a little easier to find.
