Xpensia is a smart expense tracker built around bank SMS transaction capture. It helps you turn bank transaction messages into organized financial records that you can review, edit, and save.

When your bank sends an SMS for a purchase, payment, transfer, income, bill, or other financial activity, Xpensia can detect the transaction details and prepare them for your review. You stay in control before anything is saved.

SMS Transaction Capture on Android

Xpensia uses SMS permission to help detect bank transaction messages on your device.

When enabled, Xpensia monitors incoming SMS messages and filters them to detect financial transaction alerts from banks and payment providers. When a transaction message is detected, Xpensia extracts details such as amount, merchant, date, currency, account reference, and transaction type, then prepares a transaction record for your review.

How it works:
1. Enable SMS Transaction Capture from Settings
2. Grant the required Android permissions
3. Xpensia detects bank transaction SMS messages
4. Transaction details are extracted on your device
5. You review, edit, and save the transaction

Privacy and control:
• SMS permission is used for transaction detection
• OTP, verification, promotional, and non-financial messages are ignored
• Transaction details are reviewed before saving
• Processing happens on your device
• Xpensia does not sell your data
• You can disable SMS Transaction Capture anytime from Settings
• You can continue using manual entry without SMS permission
