About this app

Turn your Android phone or tablet into a practical drawing companion.

YaYDraw helps you draw on paper with a reference image over the live camera view. Align it with your page, lock it while drawing, return to unfinished artwork, and scan the finished result into a clean digital copy.

AR DRAWING AND REFERENCE CONTROL
• Import a photo or image file, take a new photo, or explore built-in references.
• Move, rotate, scale and flip the reference; adjust opacity and brightness.
• Adjust the page angle to draw from a comfortable working position.
• Lock the reference to prevent accidental movement. Keep the phone supported while you work.

DRAWING GUIDES AND KEY POINTS
• Use grid, horizon and perspective guides for proportions and composition.
• Place key points on the reference, select and move them, or delete unwanted points.
• Undo point edits and finish with compact editing controls.

STUDY LIGHT, SHADOW AND LINE ART
• View the original reference or 2, 3, 5 or 7 grayscale levels.
• Simplify details to see the main light and dark shapes.
• Use line-art and brightness controls without losing your reference placement.

PAUSE AND CONTINUE LATER
• With the reference locked, tap the photo button before moving the phone to save a local recovery point.
• When returning, first align the reference manually with the lines on the paper.
• Use Fine-Tune for a small final correction when available.
• Recovery information stays on your device.

SCAN AND FINISH YOUR ARTWORK
• Capture drawings and paintings, check detected corners and adjust them before perspective correction.
• Choose from 15 frame styles, including 5 without the YaYDraw logo, or keep the scan unframed.
• Add a personal signature drawn or imported in Settings; adjust its position, size and angle.
• Save the result to your photo library. Detection depends on lighting, contrast and artwork position; automatic detection is not guaranteed.

PHOTO AND VIDEO STORAGE
Save AR photos and videos to Photos, or choose a folder on this device, an external drive or a cloud service. Videos record directly to supported folders. Retry, export or delete pending local captures if saving fails. Changes apply to the next capture; scan exports keep their existing save location.

Keep external drives connected until saving finishes. Cloud folders such as Google Drive may fail to save or sync due to network conditions. Writing a file does not confirm cloud sync; cloud services may still use device storage.

LOCAL ARTWORK, STORE-MANAGED SUBSCRIPTIONS
YaYDraw does not require a YaYDraw account or provide a developer-operated cloud artwork library. References, signatures, and drawing recovery information are handled locally. Google Play handles purchases and subscription access; its billing components may send technical diagnostics to Google as described in our Privacy Policy.

A monthly or yearly subscription is required to access the creative features. Eligible new subscribers may receive a 7-day free trial. Availability, eligibility, local price, billing period, and the price after a trial are shown in the subscription screen and Google Play purchase confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Google Play. Camera permission is required for camera-guided drawing and scanning; microphone permission is used when recording video with sound. The Google Play edition requires compatible Google Play billing services.
