I had trouble finding files to download but then I noticed the archives. They have music from nearly any game you can think of. Some tunes in the archive are unsupported by the app but I suppose the archives are from people other than the ones who made the app. Great app. I'm listening to it right now as I write this. The playlist and ringtone features are also neat additions. In fact, now I find that the playlist is extremely helpful, so not just a neat addition.
Best chiptune app I've found so far! It supports many formats like amiga, NES, SNES, C64, gameboy, many PC formats and too many more to list! It includes an online catalog, so you can find music without the hassle of online searches! In a previous version of the review I asked for a shuffle playlist mode, and the next day, the developer responds telling me how to do it! Great support! As of the latest update GBA, Playstation1/2, ultra64 is supported. Also Modland is fixed! Yay!
Great stuff! I downloaded this as droidsound now crashes after an android update and this is an excellent player, it even plays Atari ST .ym files (though not ones with digital drums - any plans to incorporate ST support, ie: sndh or sc68?). Anyway, an excellent chip music player and thanks to all involved in making it!
Great app for enjoying a SID or two on the move. The 6581 emulation is pretty good, especially the filters. My Galaxy S3 sometimes struggles (choppy playback) if other apps / tasks are also running, but not often. I did notice that playback of 2SID / 3SID files are not supported, but I imagine this would be rather difficult (especially when you consider that the only good multi-SID emulator for PC is Java based). I haven't tried AY / YM or MOD playback yet, but look forward to doing so!
The only good option for playing chiptune audio file formats. I have noticed however that the gsf playback is bugged and never plays what I pick. The Mother 3 minigsf set from HCS works, but none of the Sonic Advance sets do. It always play the last track in the folder, no matter what track I choose.
It's good..but how to play music files within the internal storage..it's not supporting in my phone..
