This app contains sound recordings of numerous bird species, most common in Northern Eurasia, including most of Europe and Western Asia. The app covers most of Europe and can be used successfully in most of Central, Eastern, and Southern Europe, including the Baltic States, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Turkey, the Transcaucasus, and other adjacent areas. For each species, there are many of the most typical sounds selected: male songs, calls of males and females, calls of pairs, alarm calls, aggression calls, communication signals, calls of groups and flocks, calls of young birds, and begging calls of young and female birds. It also features a search engine for all birds. Each sound recording can be played live or in a continuous loop. You can use it to attract birds during excursions directly in the wild, to lure a bird and study it carefully, take a photo, or show it to tourists or students! Do not use the app to play voices for extended periods, as this may disturb the birds, especially during the nesting season. Play recordings to attract birds for no more than 1-3 minutes! If the birds show aggression, stop playing the recordings. For each species, several photos of the bird in the wild (male, female, or juvenile, in flight) and distribution maps are provided, as well as a text description of its appearance, behavior, breeding and feeding habits, distribution, and migration patterns. The app can be used for birdwatching excursions, forest walks, hikes, country cottages, expeditions, hunting, or fishing. The app is designed for: professional birdwatchers and ornithologists; university students and teachers at on-site seminars; secondary school and supplementary education (out-of-school) teachers; forestry workers and hunters; employees of nature reserves, national parks, and other protected natural areas; songbird enthusiasts; tourists, campers, and nature guides; parents with children and summer residents; and all other nature lovers.
