The improvement in the performance of the athletes, and consequently of a team, passes through the knowledge of how these agents are acting during a match, facilitating an analysis if it exists as base a map of the happened. The basketball teams of the Itajaí and Florianópolis IFSC, through the device created, have data that are already being used, allowing a greater clarity of the behavior of the athletes and teams during the games. Besides the technical character, it was noticed that the motivation of the students involved increased, having now a benchmark of performance and being able to collaborate with ideas for the constant improvement. The good acceptance of the product and, above all, the sharpening of the curiosity about statistical data in the students justify the continuation of the project, or rather do not allow it to be finalized when it can be improved. As an example of this awakening, students take an exercise where they throw three-point shots, monitor by application, and then analyze statistical data such as mean and standard deviation between sessions. This statistical learning, being practical and through a sports activity, was a good surprise that had not been planned, that had support in the application. The continuation of the project, with the improvement, is justified not only by the fact itself but also and perhaps even more important, by the approximation of the physical activity (more motivated) of learning mathematics and control of statistical data.
