There is a website that provides similar functionality. Wish the receiver and location was at the top of each screen. Wish there was a way to turn off the panel that displays the radio station names and frequencies. Wish there was an RF gain control but also understand that might lead to overloading the receiver. Overall a very fun and useful app and does work better than the website. Thank you!

hello paul, thank you for your kind review. The KiwiSDR app does nothing but show map.kiwisdr.com, or the linked recipient pages linked to it in a browser view. Therefore, please address questions and suggestions regarding the content or function of the recipient pages directly to the developer of KiwiSDR: http://forum.kiwisdr.com. Many Thanks!

Having used extensively the web based version have given me the advantage to easily "adapt to the application smaller version which works almost the same. I use a stylus pen which allows to easily operate the minuscule control buttons with dexterity in my Samsung A71. Congratulations to the developer of this application. Love 💘 it! 2AT111

Having used the app for several months I've found that the waterfall isn't working on my android phone after the recent update. Also the ability to change receive modes, usb/lsb/cw etc. Have tried via laptop, chrome doesn't like to display waterfall correctly(running updated version) Microsoft Edge show waterfall. A handy app to use for checking TX round the HF bands.

Good news! The audio and video issue (waterfall display) could be solved by version 1.460 of KiwiSDR receiver firmware. KiwiSDR app does not need any update (current v1.5). Firmware of most receivers will automatically be updated within next few days. Issue had to do with MIT App Inventor's WebView module not supporting Window.localStorage web API.
