'Text-to-speech' app speaks out entered texts. By shaking the device, texts are spoken that are stored in a list.
Type a text and press the speaker button.
Green arrow: Add the entered text to the list.
Press and hold the green arrow: Add the entered text at the top of the list.
Press and hold the green arrow again: move entered text one place down in the list.
Green arrow with red cross: Delete the entered text from the list.
Hold green arrow with red cross: Delete all texts from the list.
Paper basket: delete the entered text.
Use the scroll bars to adjust the pitch and speed of the pronunciation.
Enter some funny texts and hide your (old) Android device in a doll of your toddler.
Add additional texts by operating the app remotely. Install Teamviewer QuickSupport and then use Team Viewer to control it from a PC or another smartphone. Teamviewer is a free app for personal use.

Google Text-to-speech is already enabled on many Android devices.
If this is not the case, go to: Settings> General management> Language and input> Voice output.
Select "Google Text-to-speech engine" as your preferred engine.
If the Google engine is not present then you first have to install the 'Google Text-to-Speech' app via google play.
This app is free, without ads and without in-app purchases.
