About this app

The Fischer App Austria is an app for fishermen in Austria who would like to learn to differentiate between local fish using pictures.
You can also use it to prepare wonderfully for the official fishing exam,
or simply always have all Austrian closed seasons and dimensions.
A flashlight and timer function are now also available.
There are 8 areas:

Fischkunde - There are over 80 pictures of local fish, crabs and mussels, but there are also some sea fish.

Fischerprüfung - Here you can prepare for the official Fischerprüfung, there are currently about 50 questions available. However, there are no closed seasons, since in most federal states it is allowed to look up the closed seasons and the dimensions when taking the exam.

Closed seasons and dimensions - Here you can find all official closed times and dimensions for all Austrian provinces.

Send catch - Since the last update, you can also take a photo directly from the app with your mobile phone and send it to friends

Lamp: Here the flash of the smartphone is used as a flashlight.

Compass: Here you can check the direction.

My location: Here you can see your current location on Google Maps.

Timers: Here you can choose preset timers, for regular feeding or to cook a perfect soft egg.
