The app is a digital document for the calculation of the severity of acute respiratory distress syndrome in the pediatric patient. It is not a medical device because it does not perform any manipulation in tests, diagnosis or treatment. It complies with European Union legislation on digital health-related documents (mHealth). The purpose is to provide a tool for the calculation of infusions, with the aim of making it intuitive. Its use does not replace the medical criteria or the relationship with the patient. It is directed to health professionals. It has been designed using the APP inventor tool. In order to avoid errors, when the necessary parameters are not entered the app will not provide any calculation.
