Are you learning German and can already understand simple texts, but still find it difficult to understand German by ear? Then this application is exactly for you.
HOW THE APP WORKS
You hear a phrase in German and try to understand by ear what you have heard. If one time is not enough for you, you can press the button in the form of a German flag, and the phrase will sound again a little slower.
When you hear a phrase, you can check if you understood it by clicking on the "Show answer" button. You will see the sounded phrase and its translation into Russian on the phone screen, and you will be able to understand whether you heard it correctly.
After evaluating the correctness of your understanding, you click on the "Correct" or "Incorrect" button, and immediately a new phrase sounds, and you do the same with it.
The program itself determines which phrases to remove from the list of phrases, and which ones to give you to listen to again and again until you can confidently understand them.
At the top of the screen, you will always see your progress. It will be expressed as a percentage. One percent will correspond to 10 phrases answered correctly.
WHAT PHRASES YOU WILL HEAR ON THE APP
In total you will hear 1000 phrases in German. The first phrases consist of only one word, the next ones consist of two words, then three, and so on.
When compiling the phrases of this application, a German textbook for level A1 was used.
APP BENEFITS
There are no extremely complex words and rare expressions in this application. It focuses on developing listening comprehension of the German language rather than developing vocabulary.
Phrases that you already know and were able to recognize from the first listening will automatically disappear from your list, and you will not waste time on them.
If you do not immediately understand the phrase you are listening to, then you will meet it several times. The more often you do not recognize a phrase, the more often it will come across to you in this application.
The gradual increase in the complexity of phrases and their length is just what your brain needs to develop understanding of German speech by ear.
Even professional interpreters have a certain number of words they can cover in one listening session. In this application, you will develop your ability to hear up to ten words at a time.
SET A GOAL
To get the most out of this application, you need to complete it by honestly answering the question whether you understood each phrase correctly or incorrectly, and follow the entire course to the end.
At a certain level, it will become difficult for you to understand phrases by ear, but just keep using the application until you have completed all one thousand phrases.
Set yourself a daily goal. It may be a certain amount of time. 15 minutes a day spent on the app will provide you with a gradual improvement in your understanding of the English language. You can also plan to increase your progress by 2% every day, and then you will complete the entire course in 50 days. You will learn to speak German!
