Historical prices can be converted to current values using inflation index (CPI) data published by INDEC in Argentina (https://www.indec.gob.ar/indec/web/Nivel4-Tema-3-5-31) . The methodology is based on the daily interpolation of monthly inflation values, taking into account its relative - cumulative nature, applying formulas related to the calculation of compound interest. Example: If a good costs $100 and the first month increases by 50%, the price will be $150 at the end of that month. But if the following month it increases again by 50% (over the previous month), the price at the end of the following month will be $225 ($150 + $150 × 50%). Consequently, over the course of two months the increase from $100 to $225 will be 125%.
