About this app
App Docente is your digital gradebook designed for the Argentine classroom. Designed by and for teachers: what used to require folders and spreadsheets, you now have on your phone or tablet, ready to review in class or at home.
✦ EVERYTHING YOU NEED, IN ONE PLACE
• Courses and schools: organize your classes and subjects by school. Switch between courses in a snap.
• Students: upload the roster just once and rearrange it as you like.
• Customized evaluation criteria: create your own spreadsheet with numerical criteria, a 3-point scale (poor/fair/good), or yes/no. Save reusable templates across courses.
• Activities and grades: each activity is a column in your spreadsheet. The virtual grid lets you instantly scan the entire course.
• Monthly attendance: mark present/absent/late/excused in a single tap per cell. The grid shows you the entire month.
• Instant Participation: During class, record a student's contribution with a single tap. No forms, no delays.
• Term Grades: One final grade per student, with an automatic suggestion calculated from the term's numerical activities. The suggestion is for guidance only: you decide the final grade.
✦ WORK EVEN WITHOUT A SIGNAL
The Teacher App works offline. Your data is stored encrypted on your device and synced when the connection is restored. You won't miss a single participation tap or a grade because the school's Wi-Fi is down.
✦ PRIVACY AND SECURITY
• Optional biometric lock when opening the app (fingerprint or facial recognition).
• Local database encrypted with AES-256.
• Teacher-specific privacy: No one else can see your data, not even another teacher using the app.
• You are responsible for your students' data; We are only the data controller (Law 25.326).
• Export all your data to JSON whenever you want.
• Delete your account with a 30-day grace period to reverse the action.

Use the app from your laptop in the staff room or from home. The web version has the same screens and the same synchronized data.
