About this app
Comprando tells you where to find the cheapest items before you even leave home.
Scan a product's barcode or search by name, and you'll instantly see the price at nearby supermarkets. No hassle, no running around.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Scan the barcode and see all the prices for that product instantly.
• Search by name, brand, or code, in full or in part.
• Compare the same product across different supermarkets and see the price difference at a glance.
• Create your shopping list, see the total, and share it with whomever you like.
• See how far away each store is and get directions on the map.
• Check the online price for each chain, which is often cheaper than the in-store price.
• See current promotions and their terms and conditions, so you won't get any surprises at the checkout. • Also check wholesale supermarkets, with the price per unit and how many units are in each package.
COVERAGE
• 11,102 stores from 63 chains nationwide.
• 249,240 products.
• More than 255,000 prices, updated daily.
WHERE THE PRICES COME FROM
• From the prices officially published by supermarkets in the National Government's price transparency program, which are updated daily.
• From each chain's online stores.
• And from users of the app: if you see a different price on the shelf, you can report it, and it will be visible to everyone.
KEEP THIS IN MIND
Prices are for reference only and may not match the price at the register: they may have changed, contain errors from the original source, or have been entered incorrectly. Always verify at the store before making a purchase. Comprando does not sell products nor has any commercial relationship with the supermarkets listed in the app; their brands are displayed solely for identification purposes.
The app needs access to your location to show you nearby stores and to your camera to read barcodes. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, or from compra.ar/borrar-cuenta without needing to have the app installed.
