About this app

Remote is an Android torrent manager for Transmission and qBittorrent. Connect directly to your seedbox, NAS, Raspberry Pi, home server, or Docker setup—without creating a Remote account or routing your server credentials through a cloud service.

Transmission and qBittorrent remote control
Connect using Transmission RPC or the qBittorrent Web UI. View active, paused, queued, and completed torrents. Sort and filter the list, then inspect progress, transfer speeds, ratios, pieces, peers, trackers, and files.

Add torrents from Android
Open magnet links and .torrent files from Remote, your browser, or another Android app. Choose the destination server, download directory, and start options before adding.

Detailed torrent management
Start, pause, resume, or remove torrents. Choose which files to download, set file priorities, adjust speed and seeding limits, move torrents through the queue, change download locations, verify data, and reannounce trackers.

Clear server monitoring
See server status, bandwidth activity, and session statistics at a glance. Receive a notification when a download finishes.

Remote Pro
The optional Pro upgrade adds:
• Multiple Transmission and qBittorrent servers
• One combined dashboard for all servers
• Ordered LAN, VPN, and public addresses with automatic failover
• Torrent search using Jackett or Prowlarr
• Configuration export and restore
• An on-device torrent engine powered by libtorrent (beta)

Private by design
Remote talks directly to the services you configure. Server settings stay on your device. HTTP and HTTPS connections, authentication, self-signed certificates, and connection diagnostics are supported. You can also lock Remote with biometrics.

Designed for Android
Use light and dark themes, choose your preferred font, and open magnet links or .torrent files from other apps.

Great clean UI, easy to use, simple and fair pricing model. I want to see more apps like this one.

When I tap a torrent file in another app (for example, a file browser), the standard app selection dialog appears. I choose your app and tap "Just once". Your app opens the "Add torrent" window, but the "Torrent file" field is empty. If instead of "Just once", I tap "Always", subsequent taps on torrent files from external apps open your app with the "Torrent file" field correctly populated. P. S. Low rating to draw your attention.

Very good app, clean UI, no ads. Enough features like file prioritisation even in free tier.
