VS Remote turns tablets, laptops and phones into a wireless control surface for VS digital studio workstations (VS-2480 and VS-1880 tested).

A dedicated Android phone connects to the console with a USB-MIDI adapter and serves a modern web console over your WiFi. Open it in the browser of any tablet or laptop on the same network: there is nothing to install on them. Several tablets and phones can be connected at the same time.

MIX FROM ANYWHERE
• Faders, pans, sends, mute and solo for inputs, tracks, FX returns and AUX buses, 8 channels per screen.
• Everything you move on the tablet moves on the console, and everything you touch on the console panel shows up on every screen.
• Channel names and colours, DCA groups, mute groups and stereo links.
• Sends on Fader to build monitor mixes quickly.

EFFECTS, EQ AND DYNAMICS
• Every effect processor (up to 8, depending on model and boards) with all its parameters on screen and presets by name.
• Four-band EQ with a graph you can drag, and compressor/expander with a curve.

PERSONAL MONITORING: MOREME
• Each musician opens VS Remote on their own phone and builds their headphone mix: "more of me" and "the rest of the band".
• Personal mixes are saved and can be recalled in one tap, without touching anyone else's mix.

DAW MODE
• Tracks on a timeline with the console's own markers, locators, Auto Punch and Loop.
• Jog wheel, V-Tracks, transport and time code.

ROUTING, PROJECTS AND SCENES
• A visual routing diagram: sources, channels, buses, tracks and outputs. Save routing profiles.
• Projects with mix, effects, routing, markers and monitor mixes; app scenes and console scenes.
• Back up everything to a file and restore it on another device.

METERS
• Level meters from the console (track, input, FX return and AUX sections).

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Only control messages travel over your local network, never audio.
• No accounts, no ads, no analytics. Nothing leaves your network.
• Optional PIN so only you can control the mix; personal monitors don't need it.

WHAT YOU NEED
• A compatible VS console with MIDI IN and OUT.
• A USB-MIDI interface and an OTG adapter.
• An Android phone (Android 8 or later) used only as the bridge. An old or cheap used phone is ideal.
• A WiFi router. The bridge phone and the tablets connect to it.
