It's a decent enough adaption of the original and the ads don't bother me. It's free, right? But I'm still gonna groan about the fact that this game was released in '88. Here it is 2024, and the game has missing animations and sound effects from the original. The gold bricks should be invincible but instead are like regular bricks. Was this 36 year old game eating up too much memory during programming?

Not a bad port of the original, but could be better. Has a few unusul quirks. Ball angle doesn't seem to be determined by the paddle in the usual way, with it bouncing in irregular directions sometimes. It also changes trajectory sometimes when bouncing off a wall! The grab function also only works sometimes, not always like it should. Also, expect ads after each level as the game is free.

Nice to see a mobile version. Already played it on arcade and in full on Arkanoid Eternal. It's playable, though not as fast as the original version, and me having to keep replaying the first few rounds every time I have a go gets boring after a while. Still worth a go if you're into mobile gaming and never played Arkanoid before, but I prefer playing the original games and Arkanoid Eternal on PC.
