About this app

With the A-Trust signature app from the leading Austrian trust service provider, you can digitally sign even more easily and, thanks to eIDAS conformity, legally secure throughout Europe.

The app enables fast two-factor authentication using device PIN, fingerprint scan or biometric face recognition. It can be used in connection with an active Handy-Signatur, ID Austria or xIDENTITY (EU-Identity Mobile), which you can apply for at a registration office.

The use of certificate-based authentication processes in A-Trust's high-security data center ensures maximum security in the digital world.

I hate to leave a lone-star review, but as most people have said, this app is awful. Over-engineered, over-complicated. The only thing it's meant to do is verification, and it can't even do that. It's incredibly slow, even on a fast phone. And when you do finally get the app to work (and this might be multiple attempts and about 20 minutes), the corresponding web pages rarely work. I am now stuck in an infinite loop of entering my (correct!) social insurance number and tax number trying to link my Handy-Bürgerkarte to my Finanzamtonline (HOW ARE THEY NOT AUTOMATICALLY LINKED ANYWAY???). A-Trust, if you're reading this, find someone else to design you the app. There are so many apps out there which are even more secure but actually work - and they work instantly, every time. Find the people who made the Revolut app and hire them instead. If anything is unclear, feel free to contact me (after all, you have all of my data...)

don't understand people's issues with this app. had absolutely no problems setting it up and using it regularly. it works perfectly fine. also not slow as someone wrote in another review. it does what it's meant to do.

I sadly have never seen fail application like this in my life ,not a single government app I can login successfully for month neither notarity nor finanzamt nor any other website, all failed login and when I tried calling the customer service some inpatient person respond to me and couldn't help. the email support also never respond ( I contacted them more than 5 times )
