State of the art neato
(1) Menu item help, including creating new outlines. Some options (I forget which ones) preclude some features like moving an outline by flicking it up or right, etc. (2) Export a specific outline doesn't work but has no help, explanation or documentation. (3) Suggested improvements to both the free & paid versions that are needed if author wants to be rated at the top. Example: how to move a top-level outline to become a child of another one.
I love your app. I was looking for a true outliner that was easy to use, had voice entry, and support for live hyperlinks. Outliner met all of these needs. It is superior to standard notetakers because the info can be organized and reorganized so flexibly. I have used outliners on the PC for years and am delighted to have found your app. I use it to organize my research, to plan projects and to develop work breakdown structures (WBS). Thanks!
Great tool, paid and just started using it, some issues though, 1. How do I move an activity to a different outline? 2. Can you make the main page which lists all the outline better spaced, right now it looks really cramped up? 3. Can you modernise the interface a little bit? 4. There's another app, which though not as great as this, but seems to have more flexibility - Listing It android app - can you make Outliner a little more flexible? For example check out the sharing function, where entire text under a heading can be shared .. please test out that app, those functionalities will really make this app pop. Great work overall ..
Terrible interface and there is no Dark theme. Adding items is tedious. Please learn something from Dynalist.
Great app. Easy to use, and backs up and syncs with Dropbox. Plus I had lots of Bonsai outlines from my old Palm OS device, and I was thrilled to find out I could import them all with this app!
* Fix: Open Outline from Dropbox App, handle new content provider
* Fix: Open Outline from Google Drive, handle read/write mode
