About this app

With the Oberbank app, you have your Oberbank with you around the clock and access to all banking functions, innovative services and practical features at home and abroad.

Note: The functions of the app may differ per country!

For account and custody account customers:
* Banking transactions anytime, anywhere (requirement: Internet connection + eBanking)
* Accounts, cards and custody accounts always at a glance
* Order SEPA transfers
* QR code reader and IBAN reader for simplified data entry for transfers

Additional services:
* Limit change on your Oberbank debit card
* Activation of your Oberbank debit card for non-EU countries
* Electronic mailbox
* Current news straight to your smartphone

The app was specially developed for smartphones. To download the Oberbank app, you need Android 8.0 or higher. You can only use the app with an Oberbank account that has been activated for internet banking. To log in, please use the banking number and the eBanking PIN.

Access rights:
Among other things, the app requires access rights to the smartphone camera so that the QR scanner and IBAN reader features can be used. The app does not access any private cell phone data.

Ratings and reviews

App was working fine until recently. Now transactions show up a day or two late which will conflict with your daily transaction limit. Also cannot shop online anymore because the app or the bank doesn't register the purchase and the payment will get declined despite having sufficient balance

No Integration in wallet, permanent issues with the security app, UI/UX not state-of-the-art

Poor functionality - only transfers and transaction history. Also, the Security App needs to be reactivated after each reinstallation (change of phone), which needs a visit to the bank.
