About this game

Nine is classic sudoku – calm, dark and in soft colours. Every row, every column and every 3 × 3 box holds each number from 1 to 9 exactly once. Every puzzle has exactly one solution and needs no guessing.

HOW IT WORKS
Tap a cell, then pick a number below. The number pad shows how many of each number are still missing. Use notes to keep track of what could fit in a cell.

THREE WAYS TO PLAY
• Campaign: 120 levels in 8 chapters, from easy to expert
• Daily: a new puzzle for everyone each day – Monday easy, Sunday expert, with calendar and streak
• Custom: choose a difficulty, roll again and share the puzzle with a 6-character code

HINTS THAT EXPLAIN
A hint first points out a mistake, otherwise the next logical step – in one sentence, right on the board: from hidden singles to the X-Wing. You learn how to solve sudoku along the way.

• Stars per level and best times, but no clock pushing you
