We have simplified the login for you:
The app recognizes them automatically based on your phone number - if you want. You can also have an SMS PIN sent to you if you do not have your My Magenta password ready.
 
To be able to use all the functions and services offered and to always receive the latest information, it is best to log in with your phone number and your My Magenta password.

When I want to use the "forgot my password" option it sends the message to some random email/phone number instead of my own, it doesn't even ask where to send it. The chatbot is also useless (no surprise there), and it says there's an option to chat with a real person but refuses to ever offer it.

This app is used for 2 thing: check your magenta contract and configure your router. Router is not available in Self service section, therefore it cannot do half of its purpose, half the stars. Wise people from Magenta decided to disable router Web configuration interface, and only let you manage router though the app, but it does not work. Also when changing app password you cannot paste the new password. In 2023 it's really basic functionality, I don't want to type long, complex passwords.

Useless app, lacking most useful/needed router options while having internal upsell advertising and tons of tracking. There was nothing wrong with the old router's 192.168.0.1 web interface, where I could actually change settings I needed. This "app" does almost nothing. On the box, they say it's for configuring the router, but in reality it's just Magenta account management and ads, same as the website.
