Don't waste your time with this App The Wüstenrot App is incredibly frustrating. After linking all my banks, I hit a password setup that made no sense. I’m a software engineer and still couldn’t understand the pattern—neither could AI. I finally guessed a password that worked, only for the login screen to reject the same credentials and threaten to lock my account. For a financial app, this is unacceptable.

You can’t reset your password until you’ve entered it incorrectly three times. Only then does the app show two things: a “Forgot Password” link and a message saying your account is now blocked, so you still can’t reset your password and must call support instead. That contradiction is… quite something. As a software developer with over 30 years of experience, I’m honestly baffled. Even my banking apps are less restrictive than this. Impressive, but not in a good way. And who is Martin Kreuzer?

This is not an app, it's a wrapper for the website. You can only open web links from there and receive messages. Even when you click "report damage" it will open a website and show you the phone number to call. Useless.
