Used to be good but in SA the only places you can get prices for are the bloody OTR's which have taken over the state. Wouldn't be surprised if they've bought the app too so as to further push out the competition. Absolute waste of time unless you're an OTR fanboy. Also the credit program that is coming soon.. has been coming ever since the app was made... still nothing. Try Fuel Map app. Way way better.
Good idea. Needs bit more work. Could you pls put a feedback button on the app. Could you also pls put a button to stretch the graph to the last 1,2 or even 3 price rises. Could you please put price information in the notification stream. As motorists must keep their eyes on the road...it would be useful to know when they are about to pass the cheapest station in their chosen radius in metres. Vocal notifications are uniquely suited to automotive applications..so pls send them into the notifications stream. Consider also approaching waze
Great App The information is very accurate & great for long trips. One thing however is that it refreshs too much while driving. My travelling partner continually tells me to stop the car so that the map doesn't update all the time. Also the points system does not give much incentive to go out of the way to update fuel prices. As a whole though I wouldn't be without it.
SAVES me HUNDREDS of dollars! Thanks MotorMouth. I'm grateful to be able to find the cheapest fuel so quickly. Only ONE problem. I think SOME petrol stations feed false prices into MotorMouth. I've been to 1 which keeps getting updated after I upload the correct price WITH photos! It was up @ $1.14 per litre & when I got there was $1.19. I changed it to $1.19 & the next day it was up @ $1.14 again & I passed by & it's $1.19. Hmmm. Not happy Jan. I drove quite a way for the BIG savings. I just don't like false advertising!
"Motormouth can only work with your location tracking turned on." What kind of bullshit is this? There's NO ability to manually update location? I want to be able to browse petrol prices like I'm browsing a map. I won't use this app until there is no invasive forced location data tracking
Grate start, hope you keep it up. My son has his learners, whilst his learning I can update fuel prices. I'm no longer board, it keeps me busy and he gets a lot more hours driving.
Thanks for using MotorMouth, we hope you will enjoy the latest updates.
