About this app

ASSI Practical Assessments is for students enrolled with ASSI International Pty Ltd (RTO 40477) in the CPP30619 Certificate III in Investigative Services and other ASSI courses.

Students record the video for a practical assessment task using their phone's normal camera app. They then use this app to send that video to ASSI so their trainer and assessor can assess it.

How it works
1. Record your practical assessment video with your phone's camera, following your assessment instructions.
2. Open the app and log in with the practical exercise pass code shown on your ASSI student interface.
3. Choose the exercise you are submitting for.
4. Select your video and tap Upload.
5. When all videos for that exercise are uploaded, tap Submit videos for assessment.

What the app does not do
The app does not use your camera, microphone or location. It does not record anything and cannot see any file other than the video you choose. There are no advertisements and no tracking.

Privacy and your videos
Your videos are sent to ASSI over an encrypted connection and stored privately. Only your trainer, assessor and authorised ASSI staff can view them. Videos are kept as assessment records in line with the record-keeping rules that apply to Registered Training Organisations. See our privacy policy at https://www.assi.com.au/app-privacy-policy.html

You need an ASSI enrolment and a pass code to use this app. It is not available to the general public. Students must be 18 or over.
