Monitoring of fraud and scams: Our systems can monitor for unusual activity. We may be in touch with you if we detect something unusual across your accounts, so make sure your contact details are up-to-date. We encourage customers to monitor their accounts.

We protect you from losses due to unauthorised transactions on personal and business accounts when you have complied with our terms and conditions, and neither you nor any authorised user on your behalf have contributed to the loss.

This means that if you do have a loss resulting from an unauthorised transaction in Bankwest Online Banking (including the Bankwest App), we may be able to reimburse you the full amount of any funds lost.

Ratings and reviews

Please make it easier to find the balance due for a credit card and when it needs to be paid by. I struggle every single month to find this. Overall the app is highly unintuitive. For example, I search for "when is my credit card payment due" and nothing useful is returned. This app is so bad I'm getting ready to move to another bank.

Excellent, except the ease of importing transactions into less well-known accounting apps like Gnucash. There either needs to be an easier automated way of accessing your transactions,... OR add some of the functions, categorization into personal account trees, to the app. Making it more like a basic personal finance app. Or offer developers an api for easier access .... we can always dream:)

Simple things like list of purchases hard to discover. The app feels confused, I'd imagine there's many different managements pulling in different directions. Don't come to this bank for its app, there are better apps. It is sufficient.
