About this app

The REDS app gives eligible customers access to their discount card, product enquiry, price check and transaction history.

Using the REDS app, you will be able to search our product range and view item availability in the selected store and its nearby locations. You can add the item to your Wishlist or directly into your shopping cart, designed to save you time when researching and planning your purchase so you can get back to your DIY project quicker.

You can also load your credit card onto the REDS app so there is no need to keep your physical credit card on you. When in store, the self-scan function allows you to scan products or shelf labels for more information and to view the price details. You can then add these items to your cart and proceed to pay for it without going to the checkout, just show your e-receipt upon exit for confirmation.

The REDS app is only available for eligible customers with an active discount card.

I have just bought a new phone (Redmi Note 9) and the bar code scanner won't focus so I can't scan any barcodes. It doesn't even make an attempt to focus. All other bar code scanner apps on the phone work fine. Other than that it seems okay. I was asked to recheck the fault on my phone since your update of the app. The scanner still makes no attempt to focus. As I stop work at Bunnings next Friday 18 Dec a fix will not benefit me but could help others with a Redmi phone.

All the updates have ruined the app, cant even get verified as a team member anymore. There comes a point when something made, intended to help, is made a hindrance and inconvenience, though overzealous checks resulting in errors, rendering all the hard work of previous developers mute and pointless. Would be great to see a simple check, and add rosters to this app, rather than using the bucket of pus that is deputy.

This app should be great but it is only ok. For some reason the scanner struggles badly to focus, so it often takes longer to scan a few items than it does to just go through the checkout. I've also stopped using the Reds cafe app to order drinks as it will charge me multiple times for one drink and those transactions will take up to 2 weeks to be reversed. I reported this and was told it was working as intended, but I think it's dodgy and I don't like it. I only use the app for the qr code now.
