About this app

Photee is a color curve editor and photo gallery. Real per-channel tone curves, applied to the image or through layers. Photee runs on your phone's GPU, and now you can point them at just part of a photo.

SELECTIVE EDITING

• Select the subject, the background, or paint a region by hand
• Subject selection runs on your device, with no upload and no account
• Give each region its own curves and its own adjustments
• Warm a face without warming the sky, or cool a background on its own
• Soft, feathered edges, so a change blends instead of looking cut out
• Stack up to ten adjustments, reorder them, and dial any one back with a strength slider


TRUE CURVE EDITING

• Master RGB curve plus independent Red, Green and Blue curves
• Tap the grid to add a control point, drag to shape it, double-tap to remove
• Smooth monotone spline interpolation, so curves never overshoot your tones
• Live histogram behind the grid, and a numeric input and output readout
• Black point and white point control on every channel


EVERYDAY ADJUSTMENTS

• Exposure, brightness, contrast, warmth, saturation and hue
• Every slider works with the curve, not instead of it
• Reset any adjustment on its own without losing your curve


GRADING AND FILM LOOKS

• 12 starting points: soft contrast, punch, matte, faded film, crush blacks, lift shadows, cross process, teal shadows, warm highlights, bleach bypass and more
• Presets drop real editable control points on the grid
• Auto levels stretches your photo to true black and true white


SAVE A LOOK AND REUSE IT

• Export a whole subject and background look as a recipe file
• Import a recipe and it finds the subject in the new photo for you

All editing happens on your device, including subject selection. Your photos are never uploaded, never sent to a server, and never used to train anything. There is no account and no sign in.
