About this app

Field Efficient is the electrical testing app for electricians, test and tag technicians and electrical contractors. Record results on site, read them straight off your tester, and send a branded, compliant test report before you leave the job.

Built for phones, not spreadsheets. Instead of wide spreadsheet-style tables that are clumsy on a small screen, you fill in quick, tap-friendly test cards that work like the apps you already use.

Read your tester directly
Connect a supported installation tester over Bluetooth and pull insulation resistance, continuity and RCD results straight into the test record. PAT testers connect over the tester's own Wi-Fi. No cables, no retyping, no transcription errors. More testers are on the way.
No supported tester? Photograph the tester's screen and the readings are filled in for you to check, or speak them and voice capture fills the row.

Test and tag, done properly
AS/NZS 3760 test and tag with class limits, retest intervals and automatic tag numbers.
Print durable test tags to a Bluetooth label printer on the job.
Scan an asset's QR code to see its history and retest it in one tap.

Electrical installation testing
AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 3017 verification, with pass and fail judged against the standard's tables rather than guessed.
Switchboard and circuit capture, RCD testing, earth continuity, insulation resistance and loop impedance.
Print a QR door card for each switchboard. Scan it on the next visit to open the board's history and retest it.
EV charger, solar PV (AS/NZS 5033) and inverter (AS/NZS 4777) testing.

Works where the work is
Capture with no signal. Results are kept on your phone and sync when you are back in range.
Import PDF, CSV and Excel exports from other test software, or scan a printed test sheet.
You review every reading before it is saved. Nothing is filed on your behalf.
