The Howzit Mobile App makes life fun by keeping users in touch with their friends and family, all in one place. Having downloaded and installed The Howzit Mobile App, users can create their own profiles and add cool and crazy profile photos to get started. App users can then invite their friends and family to join Howzit and create custom groups for friends, co-workers and family to name but a few. With a social community made of only friends and family, Howzit makes being social easy. App users can share content they love with all their Howzit connections fast and simple.

In addition to social sharing, Howzit allows users to make real-time voice and video calls with their connections directly within the app. Users can start or receive calls with friends and family to stay connected anytime. During an active voice or video call, the app uses a foreground service to ensure uninterrupted communication, even when the app is minimized or running in the background. A visible notification is displayed while a call is ongoing and is automatically removed when the call ends. The foreground service runs only for the duration of the active call.
