Learner drivers in South Australia…your life just got a little bit easier!
The LogMyDrive App is an easy and efficient way for learner drivers in South Australia to digitally record their supervised driving. Using the device location, the App automatically logs the start and end times, locations, duration and distance of each drive and also creates a map showing the route taken. Each drive can then be signed off by the driver and supervisor directly in the App before being uploaded to the driver’s LogMyDrive profile.
As a learner driver, a record of your driving history is accessible through your LogMyDrive profile so that you can see your progress at any time (and on any device). Your profile shows a running total of the number of daytime and nighttime hours that you have driven to date. The app provides you with insights on your driving history to help you make informed decisions about when and under which conditions your future drives should be.
As a supervising driver, you can add multiple learner drivers to your LogMyDrive profile so that you can monitor their driving progress all from one place.
Through an in-app purchase, a learner driver's logbook can be exported to PDF and emailed to you. The Export Feature takes the driving history of a selected learner driver and automatically populates the daytime, nighttime and driver declaration documents (as found in the official South Australian Learner Driver Companion). It then emails PDF versions of those documents to you for printing.
To purchase the Export Feature, there are 2 options:
1. Single Driver Export for $5.49 - export the logbook of a single nominated learner driver
2. Multi-Driver Export for $12.99 - export the logbooks of a up to 3 nominated learner drivers
Please note that while the documents produced by the LogMyDrive App are the same as those in the paper version of the Learner Driver Companion, the app itself is not affiliated with the South Australian Government. Please note that prolonged use of GPS can severely impact the battery life of your device.
