Family members and friends can also use Daisy to gather information and support a person's decision making. Before downloading this App or sharing it with anyone consider safety. Daisy is developed by 1800RESPECT with input by all States and Territory Governments, funded by the Australian Government under the Second Action Plan of the National Plan to Reduce Violence against Women and their Children 2010-2022.

1800RESPECT provides professional telephone and online counselling to people who are experiencing or are at risk of domestic, family and sexual violence or who have experienced this in the past, their family and friends, and frontline workers.

Ratings and reviews

This app is pretty poorly designed, which makes it hard to want to refer it onto the friend that needs help. It should have a distance based service locator, an app version of the safety plan check list and escape plan check list which you can click to mark off, and the quick exit should boot you from the app rather than only the webpage. It would make it so much more user friendly.

DONT GET THIS APP - I was told you can do something like shake your phone and it'll send your location to a contact you put in, but when I tested it there's nowhere to do any short cut you have to go into the app, and even then all it did was have the message typed for me and I still have to press send, and then hours later my contact got error messages instead of my location

An absoullty must app essentail for women experiencing domestic violence and great for mums to put on daughter's phones for the protection and if needed the help then and there if your daughter ever does experience such a horrible position . As its there when they and if they ever need it great work guys

What's new

1800RESPECT's new logo and tagline has been updated. Daisy's new logo has been updated. The quick exit button functionality has been updated - upon clicking the quick exit button, your app will shut down and your device home screen will appear. This has been done to enhance safety of people using the the Daisy app.
