Rating to comment on Amanda Chavez's review I've just downloaded this app for my 8 month old and haven't yet played it, but wanted to comment that I agree with Amanda Chavez that ads are a weird idea for a baby app - unless it's in some sad attempt to get a baby to accidentally click and buy something.
If you dont like the ads put your device on Airplane mode mode and you don't have to worry about it. It's better for your child anyway. Less exposure to radiation. Cute app!
The ads make it so I still have to stand right next to my child because of accidental navigation to other sites.
Baby's fun for hours Keeps my baby entertained and she loves the phone effect that she can call . would like a bigger variety of songs as well. As it seems to get stuck on certain ones.
Few issues My son is 10 months and this is pretty fun entertainment for him. He likes that my phone vibrates when he pushes buttons, only issues are the fact there is an ad at the top and sometimes he pushes that and it navigates to another screen. Also that although it has a lock option, it still can easily navigate most because of the ad.
Baby approved My 19 month old loves this app. As soon as she sees it her face lights up and she starts dancing. I highly recommend spending the 2$ to get the ads removed. She did not activate them that often but occasionally I caught her surfing the Internet. One oddity is that some of the songs must be English in origin. If you are a Yank you may not recogonize them. This app may expand your kid's worldview. I had no idea the grand old duke of York enjoyed drilling his 10,000 men so much. Get this app.
