Don’t worry about forgetting to turn off the air conditioning and wasting energy when you leave home with geofencing. New AirTouch 5 systems no longer come with a preset password for reaching your system over the internet — you choose your own the first time you connect.

Using AirTouch at home doesn't change. On your own Wi-Fi the app connects to your system directly, just as it always has.

Already using AirTouch 5? Nothing stops working. You'll see a suggestion to swap the standard password for one of your own — a moment on your console, or in the app while you're at home.
