The Remote Reviewer companion app puts practical skills assessment in your pocket.

Remote Reviewer is a structured, criteria-referenced assessment platform used by RTOs, training organisations, and high-consequence industries to capture, review, and record real-world evidence of competency. This app is the mobile companion to the Remote Reviewer web platform at app.remotereviewer.com.au.

WHO THIS APP IS FOR

This app is for two types of users:

CANDIDATES, LEARNERS, AND WORKERS
If you've been invited to submit evidence for an assessment task, you'll receive a unique link from your training organisation, employer, or assessor. Open that link in this app to access your task, submit your evidence, and track your review status.

REVIEWERS AND ASSESSORS
If you've been assigned reviews in Remote Reviewer, enter the email address associated with your account. A one-time verification code will be sent to that address. Once verified, you'll be taken directly to your review queue.

No account creation. No passwords. Access is granted based on your assigned role in the platform.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

- Open your personalised assessment task from an invitation link
- Submit video evidence from your camera roll or by recording directly on your device
- Review task criteria and instructions before submitting
- Track the status of your submitted evidence
- Receive reviewer feedback once your assessment is complete
- Reviewers can access their assigned queue and complete reviews on the go

ABOUT REMOTE REVIEWER

Remote Reviewer is built on a simple principle: completion records are not evidence of competency. Ticking a box that a course was finished tells you nothing about whether someone can actually perform the job.

Remote Reviewer captures timestamped, criteria-referenced video evidence of real performance — and puts the final assessment decision in the hands of a qualified human reviewer. AI tools support reviewer efficiency, but no AI makes the final call. Every decision is made by a person.

Assessment data is stored as xAPI statements in a Learning Record Store, giving organisations portable, interoperable evidence that isn't locked inside a single platform. That data can flow into LRS analytics, compliance reports, credentialing systems, and BI tools.
