You can upgrade from a standard seat for as little as £10 by entering our daily auctions. I used to use this app a bit and managed to get a couple of upgrades and it worked fairly well. Just reinstalled the app now I've started travelling on trains again and every train I search for just says the auction has closed early. Add this to the constant pop ups that keep asking me to refer my friends has left me thinking this app is not what it used to be and become a waste of time and effort.

I would give it more stars but for some reason when entering payment details all the boxes are black so you cannot see what you are entering. Phone is a Samsung S9+ at latest level. Update- night mode seems to make black text on a black background. Possibly dark mode is not supported correctly?

So far I have only used Seatfrog once, for a first class upgrade. The app is not particularly user friendly; finding stations is not easy - why are they not at least listed alphabetically? I also didn't get notification that my auction bid had been successful until 15 minutes before the train departed, by which time I had bought myself a sandwich for the journey.

Our auctions usually close 30 minutes before the service is scheduled to depart, and you should be notified as soon as the auction closes that you're a winner - both via an app notification and a confirmation via email.
