About this game

Sixth is a small, calm game about one question: does your intuition beat chance?

A symbol, card, number, die, coin, colour or tarot suit is hidden. Take the first impression that comes to mind and tap. Sixth reveals the answer, then keeps an honest count of how you are doing across every guess you make.

SEVEN WAYS TO PLAY
Symbols: star, circle, square, triangle or waves, in the spirit of the classic Zener cards.
Cards: red or black.
Numbers: pick a digit from 1 to 9.
Dice: call the roll.
Coin: heads or tails.
Colours: seven hues of the rainbow.
Tarot: cups, swords, wands or pentacles.

Each mode has different odds, and the scoring accounts for that.

ONE NUMBER THAT MATTERS
Your Sense Score sits on a single scale where 100 is chance. If you are simply guessing, you will hover right around 100, and that is where most people land. Every point above it means you are hitting more often than luck alone would predict. The score factors in how many rounds you have played, so a lucky first guess does not send it soaring.

Once you have played 20 rounds, the Stats sheet also shows your raw Z score, the standard measure of how far your results sit from what chance would give. Ten guesses tell you very little. A hundred start to tell a story.

DAILY CHALLENGE
Every day, everyone gets the same ten rounds in the same mode. Play it in a minute and see how your day went.

PRACTICE RANKINGS
The rankings screen is a simulated practice field of 800 players. It is there to show you where a score lands, not to rank you against real people. Nothing you do is uploaded anywhere.

YOURS, AND ONLY YOURS
There is no account to create and nothing to sign in to. Sessions, stats, achievements and settings stay on your device. There are no ads, no analytics and no data collection. You can wipe everything from Settings whenever you like.

A FEW GENTLE TIPS
Do not overthink it. Quiet your mind with the optional 3-2-1 timer, notice the first feeling that arrives, and tap. Most people land right around chance, and that is normal. The fun is in finding out.
