About this app

SmarteBuild is the site companion to the SmarteBuild construction management platform used by Australian builders. It is for the people who are on site rather than at a desk: supervisors, site managers, foremen and trades employed by a SmarteBuild builder.

What you can do on the phone:

• Keep working where there is no signal: the screens you have opened stay readable, and anything you save is held and sent as soon as you are back in range.
• Log a defect with a photo in seconds, assign it to the supplier, and dictate the note instead of typing it.
• Fill in the site diary where the day is happening: who was on site, deliveries, delays, weather, photos.
• Run checklists and inspections with photos and signatures, and raise a defect straight from a failed item.
• Record a delivery against a purchase order, with a photo of the docket.
• Mark schedule tasks started and finished without ringing the office.
• Report a safety incident or near miss on the spot.
• Clock in and out, or enter hours against a job and cost code.
• Message the team on each job, with photos from site, and chat with the client where the job has a client portal.
• Look up the job's documents, purchase orders, bookings, tenders and colour selections.

SmarteBuild requires a SmarteBuild account. Your builder's office invites you as a user; there is no separate sign-up in the app. Visit smartebuild.com.au to learn about the platform.

What’s new

First release of the Smartebuild app for people on site. Sign in with your Smartebuild account and open your projects on the phone: Bill of Quantities, Suppliers with tap-to-call, Documents, Purchase Orders, Tenders, Bookings, Site Diary, Defects with photos, Checklists, Timesheets, Colour Selections and Messages. Bookings shows the whole schedule with the desktop's filters, and you can book a task with a supplier straight from the phone.
