About this game
Why go on a boring old walk when you can be a secret agent? Or run through the streets of a new city to escape a zombie apocalypse? Have you ever read a story and wish you could be in it? Calling the shots, helping the good guys (or bad), choosing your adventure. Story City makes you the hero of your own story, giving you the chance to take part in your own adventure in cities across the world.
Each story only opens when you're in the right location. Whether it's fiction or non-fiction, a musical journey or scavenger hunt, all stories on Story City are made by creators who know their cities best.
Interested in a story you can't get to because of travel restrictions (or money restrictions!)? Then why not check out our creators' award winning adventures from the comfort of your home via spoiler mode.
Each story starts at a particular location in the city it’s set and can either follow one path or branch off into dozens of different locations around the city (and which ones you visit will depend on the path you pick through the adventure).
Will you explore Brisbane while running from a zombie apocalypse? Or how about cruising the Adelaide streets while solving a mystery? Or will you be pillaging the city looking for pirate supplies? Perhaps you'll take a musical journey with a First Nations storyteller and drummer in Edmonton's River Valley, or learn about your non-profit in a social issues walk.

We’ve been feeling a little anti-social recently so we decided to fix that! In this latest (and greatest) release yet you’ll find:
- You can now log in using your favourite social logins (as long as your favourite logins are Facebook, Google and Apple),
- Some small gremlins in the ‘Create Account via Email’ flow have been taught better manners, and
- We’ve tweaked Apple maps so that it works harder, better, faster, stronger…
