Study Assistant shows parents how their child is really going in Opportunity Class (OC) and selective high school preparation - not just the score at the end, but the work behind it.
BUILT FOR NSW FAMILIES
Study Assistant is made for the OC placement test and the selective high school test. Children in Year 4 preparing for OC, and Year 6 students sitting selective trial tests, work through practice papers while parents follow along from their phone.
WATCH A SESSION LIVE
See a trial test as it happens, question by question. How long your child spends on each one, when they are working and when they have drifted, and how the pace compares with the time the real exam allows. The live view is read-only and never interrupts the test.
SEE EVERY ANSWER
Open any question from a report and see exactly what your child saw: the question, every answer choice, which one they picked, and the explanation of the right answer. No more guessing what went wrong on a selective or OC practice paper.
EVERY PART OF THE TEST
Reading, mathematical reasoning, thinking skills and writing - the four papers the OC and selective tests are made of. Each one is practised separately, so a child who reads well but loses marks on thinking skills can be seen doing exactly that, subject by subject.
A FREE PAPER EVERY WEEK
The weekly challenge is free and stays free: a new exam-style paper set opens each week with a deadline at the weekend, marked automatically, with written work returned with feedback. Parents get a reminder before each deadline and a report once it is done.
NEVER MISS HOMEWORK
Every task set by the course, grouped by the day it is due, with the score behind each result. New work and revision are marked separately, so it is clear what still needs doing tonight.
WHERE THEY STAND
Class leaderboards each term, so your child can see how their effort compares with others sitting the same selective and OC trial tests. Students appear under nicknames, never their real names.
PROGRESS OVER TIME
Every attempt in every course, with averages, pass rates and trends. Watch a subject improve across a term of practice tests, or spot the one that has stalled.
