Tradie2U is a live map of tradespeople near you.

Not a directory. Not a form that fires your details off to five companies. A map you open and read in a second — who works in your area, what they do, and who's free now, today or tomorrow.

Electricians, plumbers, carpenters, builders, tilers, painters, roofers, plasterers, landscapers, handymen. Pick the trade, pick how far you'll look, and the map answers the only question that actually matters: can someone come?

HOW IT WORKS

1. Open the map. See who covers your area and who's available.
2. Tap a pin — business name, licences, specialties, ratings, what they charge to turn up.
3. Send the job. A few lines and a couple of photos is plenty.
4. It goes to that one tradie, exclusively, with a window to answer. They accept or pass, and you're told either way.
5. Once they accept you get their name, their number, a chat thread and an arrival time. When they're on their way, you can watch them come.

ONE JOB, ONE TRADIE

Your job isn't broadcast to twenty businesses, and nobody buys your details as a lead.

That's deliberate, and it's the reason tradies answer on here — a job in Tradie2U is a real job from someone ready to go, not a coin flip against five other quotes. It's better on your end too: one person coming, instead of a week of calls from companies you never chose.

This is the other half of Tradie2U, not an afterthought.

Sparkies need plumbers. Builders need chippies at short notice. Everyone needs a hand on the tools when a job blows out or the usual bloke isn't answering. Same map, same request, same one-at-a-time offer — and a tradie can be on both sides of it.

Subbie work and short-notice cover, from trades already working nearby. If you're out of your area and it's 3pm and you need someone today, that's the gap this fills.

FOR TRADIES: YOU DECIDE WHAT ANYONE SEES

Tradie2U is built around not exposing you.

- Three levels of visibility: hidden, area only, or a rough circle around where you're working. Never your exact position.
- Drop a privacy zone over your house and you fall back to area-only whenever you're home.
- Set your knock-off hours and you come off the map outside them.
- Set how far you'll actually travel, so you're not asked to drive across town.
- Add your licences, registrations and insurance, with links so a customer can check them on the real register.
- Jobs come to you one at a time, with a window sized for someone up a ladder rather than staring at a phone.

WHAT IT COSTS

Nothing. No lead fees, no per-job charge, no subscription. Quotes and payment for the work stay between you and your tradie — Tradie2U doesn't take a cut of the job.

PRIVACY, PLAINLY

A tradie's exact location never leaves our servers. Positions are snapped to a grid before anyone sees them, so the map shows the area someone works in, not where they're standing.

Customers see a business name and a rough circle. Nothing else is public.

A tradie only sees your suburb and a rough distance until they accept. Your name, number and address are shared once someone has agreed to come, and not before.

Background location is optional. Say no and you stay on the map — your circle just stops moving.

BUILT HERE, FOR HOW TRADES ACTUALLY WORK

Australian-made, and it knows the difference between an A-Grade licence, an REC registration, an REL and others across various trades — every credential links back to the issuing register so anyone can check it in about ten seconds. We never claim to have verified a licence. We show you where to confirm it yourself.

Coverage grows wherever tradies join. If you're on the tools, get your pin on the map — that's how your area fills up.
