About this app

tap app has been designed to offer a safe and accessible space for you to rehearse and practice the skills learnt during facilitator guided EQUIPS program sessions or when working with your officer or caseworker.

tap app is a resource for increasing skills and knowledge, promoting self-efficacy, enhancing wellbeing, promoting behaviour change and desistance from offending. We hope it also helps to provide you with more structure while enhancing the support you receive.

Using tap app, you will be able to:

* Plan ‘My Day’ by setting yourself goals and things to look forward to;
* Track your emotions and feelings;
* Step through tricky situations, cravings and meaningful situations using think, feel, do strategies learnt in your program;
* Practice mindfulness activities;
* Earn rewards;
* Access program information like links to your next online session; and
* Receive notifications from your Facilitator.

tap app works best when it is used regularly and openly. This requires trust. We undertake to treat information you share in the app as therapeutic in nature and collected through voluntary participation. Information you share on tap app will not be used against you (subject to mandatory reporting requirements).
