About this app

The Hunt NSW app is available to individuals who hold a NSW Game Hunting Licence (General or Restricted).

Hunt NSW makes it even easier for licensed hunters to access Online Licence Holder Services and comply with rules for hunting in NSW.
• Access current hunting maps
• Store written permissions digitally
• Log into Online Licence Holder Services to book a hunt, edit written permissions, update licence details, submit harvest returns while on the go
• Report illegal hunting
• Keep up to date with the latest rules and regulations to hunt in NSW with access to a range of resources

You must have access to a data network for some features to work, however all map features have offline availability.

You can record harvest return information as you hunt, as well as upload pictures, and simply submit when you are connected to a network.

Ratings and reviews

As a new application it works alright. But few issues need upgrade or to be fixed. -when you login or open the app it needs to be appear straight your dashboard instead introduction page. -GPS/PDF maps section needs to be added to the app as we can only access that section via web browser only. -the hunting forest map that integrated to the app is terrible. Not even useful. At least it has to be upgraded to be able used like Avenza or similar. There are more but these are the main issues.

GPS is frozen in place, does not move. Made navigation difficult. App is up to date, maps are downloaded, location services enabled, and other map apps all function properly.

Will not work on my Samsung S21+ 5g . I sent an email to the developer/DPI with no reply. On 30/03/21 I was contacted by the DPI and the issue has been fixed. App works fines now.
