About this app

CFU Activity is the mobile app for the volunteer members of Fire and Rescue NSW - Community Fire Unit (CFU). This app enables communication between CFU Members and supports activation for Bushfires, Hazard Reduction, Community Events and Training.

The app provides automated notification of bushfires within a 5km radius of a CFU location, and displays the incident on an interactive map.

The CFU Management Team have visibility of Unit activations and can communicate with Members with notifications and messages. The Management Team can also manage activations on behalf of the Unit.

CFU Activity uses CFU Member contact details that are stored by FRNSW. You can update your details by the Portal or the CFU Admin Mobile App.
