The new Transperth app makes it even easier to catch public transport.

Ratings and reviews

Mostly does as it should, except when entering the destination in Journey Planner it deletes the first letter you type, for example if you type "Perth Station" it only records "erth Station" and brings up no results for your search. Also, if you close the app and reopen it goes back to the main screen, which is really annoying if you have something open in the app (eg a journey plan) and need to use something else on your phone for a moment.

The app has some nice features allowing you to see live bus locations, save bus and train stops etc. I can't understand why they can't incorporate the multi Rider card with this app so you can tag on & off if you happen to forget your card or lose it. Mine was stolen with my wallet. There are very few places where you can acquire the Transperth multi Rider card. Apparently certain newsagents have them but then they have to add your concession card onto the device. Typical Perth!

locked me out of my account despite putting in the right password. Reseting a password took ages to send to my email. when setting up autoloader it doesn't tell you what cards it accepts, just gives you an error when you put one it doesn't. and then the whole page turns into an error and you have to reset the app. you guys do know it's 2026 right?
