Turn each outing into a structured field record.

CatchFolio is a free, local-first tool for anglers who want more than a loose diary. Plan a field run, append numbered observations while it is active, seal the ordered record when it is complete and preserve later clarification as a visible correction.

BUILD A FIELD RUN
• Set an objective, target species or question
• Link a private water profile
• Record launch or access reference, party size and safety brief
• Move deliberately from planned to active to sealed

APPEND WHAT HAPPENED
• Add numbered observations, effort intervals, rig changes, catches and safety observations
• Link an event to a working zone and rig card
• For catches, add your own species label, outcome, measurement and lure or bait
• Keep zero-catch and zero-event effort in the run history

PRESERVE THE RECORD
• Sealing generates a local digest from the run and ordered events
• Sealed events stay read-only
• Corrections are appended with their own timestamp while the original remains visible
• The Evidence Ledger shows seals and correction chains together

• Save manual access references without requesting device location
• Record observed hazards and named working zones
• Keep every profile private unless you choose an export destination

Every CatchFolio feature is available without a paid download, in-app purchase, subscription, trial or paywall. The app is supported by advertising. A rewarded ad is always optional and changes only a temporary decorative deck colour; it never unlocks a record, export, limit or tool.

The local seal is an integrity aid, not a digital signature, third-party timestamp or legal certification. CatchFolio does not provide forecasts, navigation, public fishing spots, automatic species identification, regulations, legal bag or size limits, or water-safety advice.
