Little Lock Book is a private app for keeping the recommendations you trust, and sharing them only with the people you choose.
Curate your own little book of the people, places and products you swear by. Share it with those whose taste you trust, and borrow from theirs.
The restaurant worth a return visit. The hairdresser you finally found. The hotel you keep recommending. The tradesperson who turned up. The doctor who listens. Everything in one quiet library, kept the way you want it kept.
YOU CHOOSE WHO SEES EACH CARD
Nothing is public. When you save a card, you choose who can see it, from only you to your whole circle of friends. Sharing is a deliberate choice you make every time, and you can change it whenever you like.
BUILD YOUR CIRCLE
Start your own Little Lock Book, then invite the friends whose taste you trust. They build theirs, and the best recommendations travel quietly between people who actually know each other. No strangers, no public feed.
VOUCHES AND ASKS
A vouch is a quiet, one tap "I would recommend this too" on someone else's card. An ask lets you put a question to your circle, like "anyone got a good plumber in Bondi", so the right people can answer.
CATEGORIES
Restaurants and bars, hotels and travel, hair and beauty, home services, health and medical, activities, stores and products, and more. Tags within each category help you find what you are looking for again.
WHAT IS NOT IN IT
No public profiles. No likes. No comments. No follower counts.
WHO IT IS FOR
People who keep mental lists of the places that are actually good, and who tell their friends carefully. People who would rather a small, considered library than an algorithmic feed.
PRIVACY
Sensitive information, such as health practitioners or a gender filter, is processed on explicit opt in only. You can withdraw consent or delete your account inside the app, or by emailing us. Data is stored on Firebase in the Sydney region.
