Interesting stories but overall experience is poor. App does not integrate with Google Maps as an audio source so it does not pause when maps is talking and just continues in the background so you miss things. Unless you keep the app up all the time and keep zooming in, the app just continues playing stories from way out of your area because the default radius miles is so large. Notifications pop up even when you are home because app requires location access all the time. App does not track.

I love this app! Of course, hearing stuff on a road trip is great. What surprised me, though, was how much I learned about my home city and even my neighborhood. And that was just on my normal commute and daily driving. A very cool feature is that Autio keeps track of the stories you've listened to. So for quite a while, each time I drove to work, Autio gave me different stories!

I only listened to 3 stories. Two were not even related to the area that I was traveling in. The other one has a little interesting info but they pronounced the city incorrectly again and again. The general tone of the recordings is like an NPR broadcast. Just droning on and on. I tried to cancel but it's not possible on the app. There is also no customer service contact info. Huge waste of time and money
