About this app

geo3bit is a professional GPS route recorder for runners, cyclists, hikers and travelers. It records your activity in real time and lets you review every detail — route map, speed, elevation, gradient and photos — entirely offline. No account, no internet connection, no ads.

CONTINUOUS GPS ROUTE RECORDING
Start recording your route and keep tracking your location while using other apps or when your screen is turned off. A visible notification indicates that GPS tracking is active. Recording continues in the background to capture your route without interruptions. You can stop recording at any time.

BACKGROUND GPS RECORDING
geo3bit keeps tracking your position even when the screen is off or another app is in the foreground. Each point stores coordinates, time, altitude, speed, heading, GPS accuracy and battery level.

Live stats during recording: elapsed time, distance, average and max speed, elevation gain and point count — shown on screen and in the notification.

INTERACTIVE ROUTE MAP
View your route on OpenStreetMap (free, no key required) or Google Maps (with your own API key). Fullscreen mode, start/finish markers, photo markers at every point where you took a picture. Tap any point to see its coordinates, time, altitude, speed and GPS accuracy.

SPEED, ELEVATION & GRADIENT CHARTS
Interactive charts show speed, elevation and gradient (% climb/descent) against distance traveled. Drag your finger across a chart and a cursor moves in sync on the map, showing exactly where on the route that speed or elevation was recorded.

PHOTOS & VIDEOS LINKED TO GPS POINTS
Capture photos and videos during recording — each file is automatically pinned to the exact coordinates where it was taken. Browse all route photos on a dedicated map or in a fullscreen gallery.

IMPORT & EXPORT
Export routes as GPX 1.1, KML 2.2 or Garmin TCX — compatible with Strava, Garmin Connect, Komoot, Google Earth, OsmAnd and more. Import GPX, KML and TCX files from any other app. Open your route in Google Maps with one tap.
