About this app

ChargeZen France is a free Android application that allows you to search for charging stations for electric vehicles on French territory.
The application also allows you to sort in the search for charging stations according to the type of outlet (T2, T3, CHAdeMO, Combo, Supercharger Tesla and Tesla Destinations).
This application was designed with the aim of promoting and developing the movement of electric vehicles in France, by offering users charging solutions adapted to their vehicle and their range, while using the charging time to take advantage of the services offered. by the centers of interest located nearby.
This application therefore offers the additional possibility of searching for points of interest, such as Hotels, Campsites, Restaurants and Supermarkets, located near the loading points, but also of searching for these points of interest independently of the loading points.
The principle of the application is to enter a search radius in km and to search for charging points around the current GPS position of your smartphone. It is also possible to change the search reference by choosing a city or GPS coordinates.
The ChargeZen France database consists of more than 30,000 electric charging stations and more than 40,000 points of interest in France. This database is regularly enriched as new loading points are created on French territory.
ChargeZen has a route search feature which consists of searching for loading points on a route defined from a list of cities in France, by adjusting the search radius and the vehicle range (in km) . The application allows you to select up to 5 cities from a database of more than 36,000 cities in France. Depending on the autonomy of the EV, the application proposes to segment the route into different stages and lists the charging stations at each stage within the given search radius. After selecting the different stages of the route from the charging stations found, the user can view the route to be traveled between the selected points on a web page (map and roadmap).
The ChargeZen interface is enriched with additional tabs allowing simultaneous viewing of the search result for loading points with the centers of interest and the result of the search on a chosen route. In addition, ChargeZen allows you to search from a chosen route for points of interest within a radius of 1 km around the selected charging point.
ChargeZen has Favorites management features: add, delete, save to the phone and a Favorites access tab.
